GOLDEN ACRES GENETICS ANNOUNCES NEW DIRECTOR OF SALES

WACO, TEXAS (December 16, 2008) - Pursuant to our mission of professionally serving Southern farmers with custom seed solutions, Golden Acres Genetics, Ltd. is pleased to announce the addition of Max Crittenden as the new Director of Sales. In his new position, Max will manage the sales function for Golden Acres' entire 13-state market area in the southern United States.
Max brings a strong sales background to the position, with 28 years of seed experience working for companies such as Pioneer Hi-Bred International. He has spent the past four years with Wilbur-Ellis in the capacity of Regional Seed Manager for the southwest United States. Max began his new position with Golden Acres on December 8, 2008.
Golden Acres President Lou Buice says, "Max brings strong sales and marketing experience from the biotechnology sector to Golden Acres. His energy and passion for the seed business, coupled with his genetic and trait experience are a welcomed addition to the Golden Acres management team."
Max is a member or the Texas Seed Trade Association and the Texas Ag Industries Association. He is a 1979 graduate of Texas A & M University where he studied agronomy and animal science. Max and his wife Marilyn have two sons and reside in China Spring, Texas where they are active members of the First Presbyterian Church of Waco, Texas. Max spends his leisure time hunting, fishing and attending his sons' many sporting events.
