This year's IPSA Conference, "Gateway to Independence," will focus on current and specific issues that independent seed companies are facing today. As you can imagine, planning an event of this magnitude takes time and not all the details are finalized just yet, but registration is open and hotel rooms are ready for booking!
Here are some of the highlights:
•· A welcome reception featuring local cuisine will kick things off on Tuesday January 18th, followed by an open evening for dinner on your own.
•· Join us at the Funny Bone comedy club for some laughs.
•· A Trade Show featuring exhibits from industry-leading companies, plus lengthened breaks offer plenty of networking opportunities for attendees.
•· Wednesday's General Session features Rod Osthus, founder of the R.C. Thomas Company presenting, "Selling Seed by Value (rather than low price)" and Mike Wagner of The White Rabbit Group will discuss "Developing your Organization's unique brand."
•· Breakout sessions on Wednesday afternoon regarding selling seed by value and social media programs.
•· On Thursday Context Consulting, a business management and strategy consulting firm, will give a futuristic presentation for regional seed companies
•· Jack Simms, Founder and CEO of the largest marketing agency in America, will send us off motivated to get your marketing, branding and business basics are on track.
We know networking is a priority, so lengthy breaks and open evenings on Tuesday and Wednesday will provide ample opportunities to do so. The Westport area offers an array of restaurants within walking distance making dinner meetings easy to attend. There will also be a poker run on Wednesday night for those who would like to participate!
