We're always looking for more participants

As a member of the Independent Professional Seed Association, you have a unique opportunity to serve your fellow members by sharing your knowledge and expertise.

Committee membership includes representatives of any member company- Regular (Seed Company), Associate or Affiliate member.

Our Board of Directors relies heavily on the advice and direction provided by members of IPSA's three Standing Committees: 

 

Business Development Committee

Chaired by IPSA 1st Vice President Chuck Cornelius

1. Annual Conference planning, including development of the agenda, identification of appropriate speakers, and all other aspects of planning for a successful IPSA Annual Conference

 

Education Committee

Chaired by IPSA Secretary Terry Schultz

1. Education and training programs relevant to IPSA regular member companies, such as sales training and marketing programs, as well as human resource and financial management programs.

2. Program delivery methods should include face-to-face meetings, as well as web-based training and development programs (i.e., webinars)

 

Member Services Committee 

Chaired by IPSA Board Member Randy Wilken

1. Past Research Committee functions (use task force for research projects)

2. Business tool development and networking tools

3. Associate member relations and other special programs       

     

Duties and Responsibilities

In addition to specific roles required by membership on individual committees, committee members are expected to actively participate in the work of the committee, provide thoughtful input to committee deliberations, and focus on the best interests of the association and committee goals rather than on personal interests.


IPSA has made a commitment to promote the interests and capabilities of independently owned companies, but we can't do that without you.
